Alura Moores

Office Manager & Paralegal (she/her)

Alura joined St. Lawrence Barristers in 2018 as Office Manager and Licensed Paralegal and has over 15 years of experience in the legal field.

Prior to joining St. Lawrence Barristers, she worked for a criminal law firm and for several sole practitioners, assisting counsel in both defence matters and federal prosecutorial files. Alura has appeared before the Ontario Court of Justice.

Alura is active in her community and has been the President of the Scarborough Rosewood Community Association since 2016. She is also on the Stewardship Group for the Scarborough Civic Action Network.

Outside of her work and volunteering, Alura can be found enjoying herself with her family and friends, exploring the amazing tastes and experiences in and around Toronto, doing some outdoorsy activity, or planning a vacation adventure.

  • B.A. with honours in Anthropology, St. Mary’s University (2004)
