Phil Tunley Provides Testimony to the Standing Committee of the Senate

Phil Tunley appeared before the Standing Committee of the Senate on Legal and Constitutional Affairs to provide testimony, as the President of Canadian Journalists for Free Expression (CJFE), on proposed amendments to the Access to Information Act (Canada) contained in Bill C-58.  The proceedings can be found here.

At the request of Committee members, on November 28, CJFE submitted additional amendments to strengthen the new Order power contained in new s. 36.1(1) in the Bill.
